Gary Zbacnik, President & CEO

Before merging with Brazen Technology, Gary co-founded PharmaCentric, Inc. a pharmaceutical service company focusing on Customer Relations Management, Sales Force Automation and eBusiness Solutions. Gary has over fifteen years experience in pharmaceutical operations and sales. Prior to PharmaCentric Gary was General Manager of McKessonHBOC's Pharmaceutical Partners Group Technology Solutions Division supporting over 4,000 field representatives working for emerging pharmaceutical companies and 13 CSO sales forces. During his tenure with McKesson, he held positions of increasing responsibility in operations, sales, and training, gaining an in-depth understanding of best of breed business practices that have leveragability in other industries. Before McKessonHBOC, Gary held several operations management posts with Walsh America, his last position being Director, North American Operations. Gary enjoys golfing, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Gary holds a Bachelors of Science in Production Operations Management and in Electronic Technology with a minor in Accounting.

Rainer Engel, Vice President Technology

Has over twenty years experience in the networking industry, Rainer has acquired in-depth knowledge in all facets of networking and has worked with clients ranging from small start-up companies to large global companies. Prior to PharmaCentric, Inc., Rainer was a co-founder of Brazen Technology, Inc. a network service provider. Rainer was responsible for network solutions and service delivery to his clients. Before Brazen, Rainer was the Director of Network Services at InfoImage, Inc. and was responsible for all internal network operations. Prior to InfoImage, Rainer focused on Network IT infrastructure services and consulting at Zurich Insurance. Rainer resides in Ahwautukee with his wife Sandra and son Trace. He is active in aviation and is part owner and an officer of Scorpion Aviation, an aircraft leasing company. Rainer is both energetic and enthusiastic and cherishes the value of hard work. Above all, Rainer cherishes his family and friends.

Rainer received his Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Accounting from Villa Julie College in Stevenson, Maryland.
 

Patrick Zbacnik, Vice President Systems Administration & Support

Patrick has over 15 years experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry providing services for some of the world leading consulting and Lotus Notes companies. Patrick brings extensive experience in consulting, customer service, Lotus Notes/Domino administration, and project management.

Patrick first began his career with Accenture, formally Andersen Consulting, and then with InfoImage, Inc. This background was the basis for his strong experience gained in the areas mentioned in the paragraph directly above. At Accenture, Patrick served as a Technician, Analyst and Consultant mainly focused on delivering Lotus Notes/Domino and IT infrastructure services. While at InfoImage, Inc., Patrick implemented major IT initiatives, assisted with product quality assurance, sustained the internal Lotus Notes/Domino infrastructure and advanced to the Director of Customer Support, where he responsible for overseeing the 24 hour National Support Center.

Seeking a different challenge, Patrick co-created a product and services origanization, where he was responsible for the service delivery practice, which included; Domino Administration, Help Desk, Software Product Development Fulfillment and Quality Assurance.

In 2001, Patrick co-founded Brazen Technology, Inc., and has served in may facets of the organization. Today, he is accountable for the Professional Services Delivery Practice. Also, Patrick serves as a member of the executive leadership team, responsible for the strategic direction of the company.

Patrick is an honors graduate of DeVry University, with a Bachelors of Science in Business Operations and a minor in Accounting. Patrick has attended a multitude of management, self awareness and IT trainings, and obtained Lotus Notes Domino Administration and Development certifications. He is a member of the PDGA and enjoys golfing and many other outdoor activities and sports. Above all Patrick cherishes his family and friends.
 

 

Allan Dumaine, Vice President Operations

Allan has over 19 years experience in the IT industry with extensive experience in networking, computer components, and software programming. Before joining Brazen in 2004, he founded RedHawk Software LLC, a consulting and software company specializing in Lotus Notes applications, in 2001.

Prior to RedHawk Software, he co-founded InfoImage, Inc. in 1992. InfoImage became the largest independent Lotus Notes consulting, services, and education provider until their focus changed to corporate portals in 2000. Allan served as Vice President of Support and CIO managing a team of 21. He was responsible for growing the infrastructure of the company to 11 offices supporting 240 employees, building internal applications to run the entire business and also building and supporting commercial software utilities for managing Lotus Notes environments. He was a member of the executive team responsible for the day to day management of the company.

Prior to InfoImage he worked at Micro Assistance Group where he headed up the teams responsible for the assembly of a large volume of computers and high end networking servers. Allan lives in Scottsdale with his wife Kim and two children and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and swimming.

Allan received his education at the University of New Hampshire and a multitude of IT industry courses.

Scott Blasenak, Vice President Sales

With over 15 years of experience in sales and sales management at some of the worlds leading companies, Scott brings to Brazen a great deal of expertise in the areas of sales, marketing and finance.

He began his career in the financial services industry, first with UnumProvident and then with GE Capital. This background helped him develop expertise not only in the areas of sales and marketing, but also in finance. This understanding of finance has given him the ability to help customers pick not only the best solution, but also the one with the best return on investment. Seeking a different challenge, Scott later transitioned to the IT industry, working for EMC and StorageTek, two of the world's leaders in data storage, backup and disaster recovery. Covering major accounts for both companies, he developed a fanatical belief in after the sale service and an acute understanding that this is the only way to create lasting customer relationships. Throughout his career he has continually accepted positions of increasing challenge and responsibility.

Scott is an honors graduate of Providence College, with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. Above all he values time with his family and friends. He is a licensed pilot, an avid reader, and enjoys hockey, cycling, and boating. He also serves on the Executive Council of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix.
